Upcoming Fashion Shows!

Last week the main fashion shows of the week was Victoria Secret and Chanel, however, tonight in New York, Valentino will be showcasing the Valentino Haute Couture fashion show as a way to celebrate the Valentino store down in the city of the big apple! The Show can be watched live tonight on http://live.valentino.com/ !
Whats expected in 2015? A bunch of shows displaying different collections of menswear from London, Milan, and Paris! Get excited! I'll be updating every show that will be coming up for 2015!

Different Fall/Winter Collections

Many designers have brought out their new fall/winter collections that have been displayed on different magazines and websites such as Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. Collections such as Gucci, Cacharel, and Maiyet have beautiful and amazing collections that I am currently obsessing over!

Gucci



Gucci is big about displaying class in this collection and it's all nicely put together by keeping the outfits simple and chic. Amazing for an night event or a day out in the city.

Cacharel



I love how fun Cacharel's collection is and how its leans towards more of the casual side compared to many other collections. These outfits can be worn to most places and you can still look cute going out even if its not somewhere as nice as the day before.

Maiyet



Maiyet's simple but cute collection, as the ones before, makes me love everything about it. I feel like most of it can be nicely layered or paired with any other clothing in the collection. This whole collection and the rest of the collections just gives me a huge urge to shop!

Current favorite designers!

Recently, I went to the fashion show in Dallas called Fashion X Dallas and it was fantastic. Many of the outfits for women were just fun and gorgeous to look at. The menswear was also so chic and well put together by the designers. The shows lasted three nights from November 6th to the 8th and it showcased amazing collections from different designers. Ranging from emerging designers to project runway designers. Below would have to be my top designers that I saw throughout the different shows.

Alexander Wang's Release!

For everyone who has been just dying for November 6th to see the new Alexander Wang collection with H&M! The day has finally come and as well as the prices! It finally was released 9am this morning online and in stores all over. Sadly, they are not displayed in every store but everyone still had the chance to get their hands on the collection, however, they were selling out like crazy. The website was crashing and a lot of the clothing are sold out. Hopefully their will be more for the online shoppers.

Alexander Wang's Collaboration with H&M!

To start out the month of November , Alexander Wang will be launching out a collection with H&M on November 6th!  I absolutely love the collection and I am looking forward to seeing the collection in person!  Wang brings a different look to H&M with an all black collection that will display men and women clothing. The Love For Shoes!

                                                 
It's finally October! Get ready for chilly mornings and cooler days. Personally, shopping for shoes is much easier for me than clothes because their is just so much I love from first sight. That's right, love at first sight comes with shoes. As fall starts wedging itself in and the weather starts getting colder then that is the time to bring out those booties! I adore them so much and they are beyond cute with so many outfits.

Another favorite of mine would absolutely be oxfords as flats or heels especially for fall when the weather is just right. Add it either with a skater skirt and crop top or a cute blouse, shorts, and a chic blazer.


 

Trending For Men

Throughout fashion week and new issues of magazines, i've noticed different trends that have been occurring for the last few months of 2014. Different trends such as Shearling on coats, leather, and denim.

Shearling is sheepskin that is normally laid on the collar of coats or trenches. I personally really like this look on men as it gives the coat some texture and a little bit of interest to the outfit. I love that the shearling is so much lighter than the coat and it can blend well with different colored clothing.
              

I absolutely love leather whether its on men or woman. I think leather can be very chic, as well as, very lovely to put on with a simple outfit for the day.

       
Something I fancy very much on men is denim. I know denim isn't something new but I absolutely love the look of it and how great it is for layering for the colder seasons.

 

My Top Magazines!

I absolutely love fashion magazines and I think it's a good thing to receive in the mail every so often for new trends and ways to make that outfit. There is times where you just next a little bit of inspiration for an outfit maybe either for winter, fall, summer and etc. Even though, you might find things that you can't afford it's still nice to look at in your free time.

My favorite overall has to be vanity fair. What they display in the magazine is very chic and I cant get enough of all the fashion photographs that are portrayed in each issue.
                                             
Another one of my favorites would have to be Departures. I love that Departures has more of a variety of categories to look at besides fashion. Even though I adore fashion so much, I do like having the chance to look at different places to travel to, advise on home decorating, or just great places to go get amazing food. Departures would have to be my favorite if I had to choose a magazine that showed multiple categories within the issue.
                                                                                          

Even though I do not wear menswear, I love just looking at the different outfits that can be put together for guys. Glancing at my blog, you might get the point that I adore both men and women clothing. GQ showcases a variety of outfits for men whether they wanna look casual or formal and I think many of them can be just as fabulous as women clothing.

                      


               

Stores I Adore

Oh the places to go shop! Whether its online or on the street theirs just so many options, however, I do have my own personal favorites which I hope you enjoy as well. They possibly might be stores that you've heard of or just the opposite. I feel like they give a good selection for a variety of clothing that are trendy with both guys and girls.


                                                
The first store that came off the top of my head is Topshop. Topshop.com is one of my ultimate favorites and I love how they provide you with information about clothing that was previously walked down the runway. As well as, clothes that are in season or that are currently trending. They just have very fashionable clothing that is very lovely to wear out.
                        
Another online store is boohoo.com and I think it just contains the combination of being very chic and adorable. Its a store that also provides things that are different and you may not see many people wearing. At first when going on the site, the currency may be the currency from Britain but all you have to do is change the currency to USD and your all set to start shopping!

                                                              
This is a store I know a lot more people would know! The is just somewhere I feel like so many ages can shop at. They provide a toddler, men, and women section but not only that they just provide such cute clothing whether you want formal or casual. They contain very trendy clothing and they also have very simple and basic items. Along with the simplicity, they have many items that pop and stand out with different patterns, which can go with that simplicity..

Indie fashion for Men

Indie fashion for men has to be one of my personal favorites because the clothing can be so different and so unique and simple. This fashion always catches my eye and I absolutely love the different outfits that are put together to make it very stylish. It could be a combination of different patterned buttoned down shirts with colored rolled up jeans and Alden Indy boots,desert boots, or just vans.

Indie clothing has fun and hip combinations and I believe its starting to pop up more and more among teens,bands, movies and etc. Its something that can still be chic but has its own twist to it at the same time.

Indie Vibes

In the mood to wear something different? Possibly something more Indie? Theirs always different ways to make that outfit unique and very fashionable. Below are personal favorites of ways of putting a simple bit of makeup on and putting together that perfect simple outfit.

I don't think I can ever get enough of Indie Fashion. It adds something different that a lot of times will make you stand out even more!

How can you go wrong with rompers in that lovely warm weather? Even if its getting a little chilly for a fun afternoon out adding even a simple cardigan can top off that outfit.

 Men clothing for that warm weather can be very simple but very stylish at the same time. Starting the day out with a simple button down shirt with the addition of colors to pop out from the outfit to layering it with a cardigan or a thin sweater.
